Great and Mighty Things
"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not"
God shows Jeremiah the present situation (33:4-5)
The Lord is interested in helping us see what is really happening.
Hebrews 4:12 -- "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
God shows Jeremiah the promised Person (33:15-16)
The Lord wants us to know that He keeps his promises.
How do we experience great and mighty things?
- Ask based upon the Lord's promises
- Keep on asking, expecting an answer
- Be prepared for action after illumination
