An Unpopular Messenger
(Amos 7:10-17)

Our Unpopular Message:

A _Narrow_ Salvation in a world full of Religions

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)

A Foundation of _Truth_ in a world of Postmodernism

"...Thy word is truth." (John 17:17)

"...thy law is the truth." (Psalm 119:142)

"Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth." (Psalm 119:151)

1) Where did we come from?  "In the befinning God created the heaven and earth." (Genesis 1:1)

2) What are we doing here? "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgement, with every secret thing, whether if be good, or whether it be evil." (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)

3) Where are we going? "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement:" (Hebrews 9:27)
"Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." (John 5:28-29)

A Standard of _Holiness_ in a world of Moral Relativity

"But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; fo I am holy." (1 Peter 1:15-16)

We must intercede for the _unsaved_ as Amos interceded for his nation.
