How God's Word Works

Isaiah 55:10-11

God's Word will not be wasted (55:11a).

God's Word accomplishes His desire (55:11b).

• The Word of God is necessary for spiritual life (Luke 4:4)
• God's Word convicts the sinner (Hebrews 4:12)
• God's Word equips the saved (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
• God's Word brings about faith (Romans 10:17, Acts 5:7, 1 Peter 1:23)
